Electronics Engineer
Description
Darwin Space is currently hiring for an Electronics Engineer in Luxembourg.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Review and analyze Systems requirements and propose compliant architectures
Design and implement schematics with detailed analog and digital circuits
Perform design analysis such as Worst-Case Analysis, Derating Analysis, and FMEA/FMECA.
Review PCB/layout design provided by the team.
Perform initial testing and debugging of the CBA, and then complete the functional test.
Provide technical and official documentation: analysis, test plans, test results
Support S/W and F/W teams to provide a complete system that meets requirements and project deadlines
Support test competency in establishing automated testing
PREFERRED SKILLS
Knowledge of the Electronic Design Automation (EDA)/Computer Assisted Design (CAD) tool (Altium, Cadence …)
Familiarity with database management
Experience with other EDA tools and eventually script development
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Strong interest in developing hardware electronics schematics, small signals, high-speed memories, micro-controllers/FPGA, and low-power DC/DC conversion.
Knowledge in PCB layout and general laboratory test equipment
Scripting ability to automate tests and report tasks
Competences in planning and risk management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Fluent in English
- French or German are strong asset
Master’s degree in electronics engineering or equivalent
Over 5 years of relevant experience
- not necessarily in space. Automotive or medical experience would be appreciated.
