Senior Project Manager

Position overview

As a Senior PV Project Manager, you will assume overall responsibility for the planning, management, and successful implementation of photovoltaic projects. You will oversee projects throughout their entire lifecycle

  • from development, planning, and procurement to the realization and commissioning of solar power plants.

In this role, you ensure that all project goals are met in terms of time, budget, quality, and regulatory requirements. You coordinate interdisciplinary teams, manage external service providers, and act as a central point of contact between internal departments, clients, authorities, and other stakeholders.

Your tasks

  • Independent management and implementation of photovoltaic projects with a focus on rooftop systems (residential & C&I)

  • Coordination of all project phases from planning to commissioning

  • Coordination and management of subcontractors and service providers

  • Ensuring adherence to deadlines, quality and budget

  • Conducting regular on-site visits to construction sites

  • Review, evaluation and approval of technical documentation

Your qualifications

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in project management in the PV sector

  • Solid practical experience with rooftop PV projects (residential, C&I) and ideally additional experience in other project types

  • Strong practical background with a focus on implementation and successful project realization

  • Excellent ability to read and understand technical documents (measurement concepts, single-line diagrams, occupancy plans)

  • Sound knowledge of the standards VDE 4105 and VDE 4110 as well as practical experience in the application of both guidelines

  • Knowledge in the area of ​​construction site safety

  • German language skills at least at C1 level and fluent English language skills

Your profile

  • Completed studies in engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification

  • Several years of professional experience in project management, ideally in the PV sector

  • Proven experience in managing complex projects

  • Excellent knowledge of contract and risk management
