We are developing a new web application for configuring advanced hardware devices. The application is built in React and runs in a Kubernetes environment. Since the application interacts with hardware, cybersecurity is a top priority. The team currently consists of three skilled developers, but we need to strengthen it with one person:

-Senior React Developer

• to establish the technical foundation and best practices.

-Test Automation Lead

• to lead and take responsibility for test strategy, automation, and quality assurance.

Your responsibilities:

• Design a scalable frontend architecture and introduce ADR (Architecture Decision Records).

• Establish a DevSecOps culture with a strong security focus (CSP, authentication in K8s, SAST/DAST).

• Guide the team in state management, component structure, and strict typing with TypeScript.

• Ensure proper packaging and deployment of the React application in Docker/Kubernetes.

• Lead and take ownership of the test strategy and quality assurance in the project.

• Develop and maintain automated tests using Python and Pytest.

• Ensure that features meet requirements and quality standards.

• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to define and verify functionality.

• Maintain and improve the regression suite.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes and strategies.

Must-have requirements:

• Expert knowledge of React (hooks, rendering lifecycle, performance optimization).

• Experience with testing frameworks (Vitest/Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright).

• Many years of experience in test automation with Python.

• Documented experience in leading test efforts within development teams.

• Solid understanding of CI/CD and integrating tests into pipelines.

• Experience with testing frameworks such as Pytest and preferably Playwright for end-to-end tests.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with hardware configuration, IoT, or industrial interfaces.

• Knowledge of YANG.

• Experience with state management (TanStack Query, Zustand/Redux).

• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, secure container handling, and token management.

• Advanced TypeScript, ASP.NET C#.
