Electrical System Engineer – Control Equipment and Measurement

Description

As an Electrical System Engineer within Control Equipment and Measurement (CEM), you will be responsible for delivering customer-specific electrical designs and complete electrical documentation for projects within our Medium Gas Turbine segment.

Your work will primarily focus on the design of control cabinets, including layouts, component lists, circuit diagrams, internal wiring and cabling, network maps, signal exchange lists, and fuse lists. This work is carried out in close collaboration with the control department and the wider electrical engineering organization.

Together with your colleagues, you will work in customer order projects, ensuring that all customer requirements are fulfilled in both design and documentation. You will also provide technical support to assembly and site activities, which includes regular interaction with subcontractors, purchasing, and the sales organization.

The role involves working across multiple interfaces where an open mindset, collaboration, and willingness to contribute to continuous development are essential. As part of the project work, you will also spend time in the workshop to support projects throughout the full assembly phase.

Your background and skills

A relevant education within electrical engineering, combined with several years of professional experience

Experience with SPHA or other relevant I/O solutions

Experience using electrical CAD tools, including work with layouts and circuit diagrams

Previous experience with our product portfolio or other power generation products is considered a strong advantage

Proficient communication skills in English, both written and spoken
