React Architect

Description

CGI is seeking an experienced React / Frontend Architect to join our consulting team and support enterprise-scale digital initiatives for our clients. This role is ideal for a hands-on architect who can design and guide modern frontend platforms while collaborating closely with client stakeholders, backend teams, and delivery leads.

You will be responsible for defining frontend architecture standards, ensuring performance and scalability, and enabling teams to build maintainable, future-ready user interfaces using modern frameworks and tooling.

This role is located in on client site in Denver, CO area (Centennial, CO).

How you'll make an impact .  Architect and design modern frontend solutions using React and complementary frameworks .  Define and implement front-end architecture patterns, including micro-frontends and micro-sites .  Lead design decisions around server-side rendering (SSR), client-side rendering, and hybrid approaches .  Establish best practices for performance optimization, scalability, and maintainability .  Design and oversee frontend build pipelines using tools such as Webpack, Vite, and related ecosystems .  Collaborate with backend, DevOps, and UX teams to ensure cohesive end-to-end solutions .  Provide architectural guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to frontend engineers .  Evaluate and recommend frontend technologies, frameworks, and tooling aligned to client and enterprise standards .  Support client-facing discussions, translating business and experience requirements into technical designs

What you'll bring .  8+ years of experience in frontend development, with deep expertise in React .  Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks and libraries .  Hands-on experience with frontend build tools and pipelines (e.g., Webpack, Vite, Rollup) .  Proven experience deg and implementing Server-Side Rendering (SSR) solutions .  Experience with micro-frontends and micro-sites architectures in enterprise environments .  Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization, scalability, and long-term maintainability .  Experience working in complex, distributed development environments .  Ability to clearly communicate architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $98,500.00 - $218,200.00.
