AEM Architect

Description

CGI is seeking a highly experienced AEM / Enterprise Architect to lead the design and evolution of enterprise-scale digital platforms. This role sits at the intersection of Adobe Experience Manager, enterprise architecture, and business strategy, and is ideal for someone who enjoys shaping long-term digital roadmaps while staying close to hands-on technical design. You will play a key role in defining scalable, secure, and composable architectures that support personalized, content-driven digital experiences across channels, while ensuring alignment with broader enterprise standards and business objectives.

This role is located in on client site in Denver, CO area (Centennial, CO).

How you'll make an impact .  Architect and design enterprise-grade AEM solutions (Sites, Assets, Forms, Cloud Service) that are scalable, secure, and performant .  Define end-to-end digital platform architectures, integrating AEM with CMS, DAM, commerce, CRM, identity, analytics, and marketing ecosystems .  Translate business goals and experience strategies into technical architectures and roadmaps .  Establish and govern architecture standards, patterns, and best practices across digital initiatives .  Lead architecture reviews, solution design sessions, and technical decision-making with senior stakeholders .  Provide architectural guidance across development teams, ensuring quality, reusability, and adherence to enterprise principles .  Design for cloud-native, headless, and composable architectures, including AEM as a Cloud Service .  Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, performance, and availability requirements .  Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and vendors to support digital transformation initiatives

What you'll bring .    8+ years of experience in digital platform architecture, with deep hands-on experience in Adobe Experience Manager .  Strong knowledge of AEM Sites, Assets, Cloud Service, and modern AEM development patterns .  Proven experience in enterprise architecture, including application, integration, and platform-level design .  Experience integrating AEM with enterprise systems such as CRM (Salesforce), commerce platforms, identity providers, analytics, and APIs .  Strong understanding of cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP), DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code .  Experience with headless CMS, microservices, and API-first design .  Knowledge of security, identity, and compliance considerations in enterprise digital platforms .  Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business and executive stakeholders .  Adobe certifications and TOGAF or equivalent architecture certifications are a plus

Minimum Education Required: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e.: Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a similar major with extensive computer-based or technical content)

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $98,500.00 - $218,200.00.
