Senior AX/SQL Technical Expert

Description

Role Summary The Senior / Expert MS Dynamics AX Technical Lead will serve as the primary technical authority for the client's Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009/2012 environment. This role is responsible for overall technical ownership, system stability, performance optimization, and leading complex initiatives such as AX migrations, upgrades, integrations, and environment refresh activities. The role will also provide expert-level support for database and infrastructure-related services supporting the AX platform.

Key Responsibilities

. Provide technical expertise for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009/2012 environments and related systems. . Oversee and support AX application, database, and integration operations. . Lead the planning and execution of complex technical initiatives such as: AX upgrades and migrations AX Migration Server and database migrations AX monitoring and tooling migrations Environment refresh and rebuild activities Take lead on the coordination of Installation and integration of third-party applications as needed. (e.g., Biztalk, Streamserve, ReadSoft, CPQ, Fastpath) . Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for AX, SQL Server, and supporting infrastructure. . Perform root cause analysis for complex incidents and recurring problems. . Conduct technical reviews of AX application and SQL database configurations, benchmark against Microsoft standards, and recommend improvements. . Drive system optimization, performance tuning, and stability improvements. . Drive operational improvements by implementing technical process enhancements and introducing automation and AI-driven solutions to increase efficiency and add value. . Collaborate with infrastructure, applications, and vendor teams for coordinated delivery.

Experience Requirement

. Minimum of 10 years' experience in MS Dynamics AX technical roles, with hands-on leadership of complex projects. . Proven experience in enterprise database and application support environments. . Experience working in multi-team, global, or enterprise delivery models is preferred. . Must be amenable to working onsite 3 days a week in McKinley, Taguig, on a mid-shift schedule.
