Position ID :J1225-1426 Designation : Senior Software Engineer / Lead / Associate Consultant Location : Bangalore Experience range : 5 to 12 years
Role Summary Looking for a skilled Power BI, SQL Data Engineer & PowerApps Developer to design, develop, and maintain data-driven solutions and low-code applications. The role involves building scalable data models, interactive dashboards, and business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform, with a strong focus on Dataverse, and Power BI analytics & Power Apps.
Key Responsibilities Power BI & Analytics • Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards. • Create and optimize data models, DAX calculations, and KPIs. • Connect Power BI to multiple data sources including SQL databases and Dataverse. • Ensure report performance, data accuracy, and security best practices.
SQL & Data Engineering • Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and views. • Design and implement ETL/data transformation pipelines. • Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity. • Support data integration across enterprise systems.
PowerApps Development • Build and enhance PowerApps (Canvas and Model-driven apps). • Integrate PowerApps with Dataverse, SQL, and external data sources. • Implement business logic, validations, and UI/UX best practices. • Maintain and improve existing applications based on user feedback.
Dataverse • Design Dataverse tables, relationships, and data models. • Manage security roles, access controls, and data governance. • Support integration with Power Automate and Power BI.
Required Primary Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field. • Proven experience with: o Power BI (DAX, data modelling, visualization) o SQL (complex queries, performance tuning, ETL) o PowerApps o Dataverse • Strong understanding of data engineering concepts and BI best practices. • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Secondary Skills: • Exposure to Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, or Synapse Analytics • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery models
