This is an exciting Documentation opportunity, which gives an individual the ability to work in a dynamic environment supporting multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate has excellent written/grammatical skills and can review both functional and technical user documentation. The candidate must also have analytical skills and enjoy reading, writing, and learning new things. The candidate must be self motivated and organized. For this role, CGI is looking for an individual with excellent written skills; analytic skills; a strong work ethic that takes full ownership of assignments; capable of meeting target dates and very responsive to requests for assistance; and the ability to effectively work with other geographically distributed team members and other teams. The individual must have experience with Microsoft Office tools such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, and must know how to format a document using pre-defined styles. The individual must be able to learn new skills quickly. Certification in Technical Writing course is preferred. Experience with Adobe RoboHelp is a big advantage but not required. Experience with JIRA and GitLab is also preferred but not required. Responsibilities include reviewing functional and technical user documentation along with drafting documentation for new functionality. The Documentation member will work with functional and technical members to create online help and other forms of documentation that enhances the user experience.
