  • L3 (Retail Domain) Role Overview The Enterprise Architect L3 (Retail Domain) is responsible for deg, governing, and optimizing enterprise architecture frameworks tailored to retail operations. This includes store systems, e‑commerce platforms, POS, supply chain, ERP, CRM, and omnichannel integrations. The role requires deep expertise in retail technology landscapes, strong problem‑solving skills, and the ability to resolve complex architectural challenges independently while ensuring scalability, resilience, and alignment with business strategy. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide L3 architectural support for escalated design and integration challenges across retail systems.
  • Define and maintain enterprise architecture standards, frameworks, and roadmaps for retail IT.
  • Design end‑to‑end solutions covering POS, ERP, CRM, e‑commerce, supply chain, and customer engagement platforms.
  • Govern application integration using APIs, middleware, and retail‑specific protocols.
  • Ensure scalability, performance, and security across retail technology ecosystems.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to align IT architecture with retail strategy and customer experience goals.
  • Lead solution evaluations, vendor assessments, and technology adoption for retail platforms.
  • Conduct impact analysis for new initiatives and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
  • Mentor solution architects and technical teams, providing guidance on best practices.
  • Maintain documentation, architectural blueprints, and governance models. Required Skills & Experience
  • 10–15 years of experience in enterprise architecture with strong L3 expertise.
  • Hands‑on experience in retail IT systems (POS, ERP, CRM, supply chain, e‑commerce).
  • Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, FEAF).
  • Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) for retail workloads.
  • Experience with integration platforms, APIs, and microservices architectures.
  • Familiarity with data architecture, analytics, and customer insights platforms.
  • Proficiency in security, compliance, and governance frameworks relevant to retail.
  • Solid understanding of omnichannel retail strategies and digital transformation.
  • Ability to lead critical architectural decisions and mentor junior architects. Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications: TOGAF, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, ITIL Expert.
  • Experience with retail analytics, AI/ML for customer personalization, and IoT in retail operations.
  • Exposure to enterprise architecture tools (ArchiMate, Sparx EA, LeanIX).
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes for incident, problem, change, and release management.
