AWS DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:

In-depth understanding of IAM roles, privileges, policies and automating through scripts via both AWS console and programmatically

Configure and deploy EKS Cluster infrastructure though CI/CD pipelines GitHub actions

Administer EKS Cluster for deploying cloud native products segregated through namespaces

Writing Terraform Enterprise scripts (.yaml) or deg TF workspace for provisioning infrastructure as a code

Understanding of integrating and deploying (CI/CD) code/infrastructure repos using GitHub Actions, pushing docker images to ECR/GHCR registry, using HashiCorp Vault for GHSecret or AWS KMS for passkeys, accustomed to Security Scans tooling like Sonar Cube, Mend and understands API end point routings etc

Setting up high performance and scalable Application Load Balancer for both egress/ingress controllers, proactive and reactive monitoring/orchestration from security/operational/availability/costing aspects and taking care of observability stack via Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana and New Relic etc

Extended ITIL Operational and Support Knowledge on Change/Incident/Problem management

SAFe Agile

Documentation

Understanding customer requirements

Implementing various developments, testing, automation and IT Infra tools

Managing stakeholders

Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation

Building and deploying Jenkins pipelines as per the new requirements

Troubleshooting the technical issues and fixing the bugs in the code

Monitoring the infrastructure using monitoring and logging tools like Grafana, Kibana etc

Building automated processes wherever possible

Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management

Incident management and root cause analysis

Coordination and communicating with different teams and customers

Managing periodic reporting on the progress to the management and the customer

Deploying and managing Oracle database through automated process and pipelines and monitoring them using latest monitoring tools
