Job Description: - Lead AI Engineer: - We are seeking a high-caliber, initiative-driven Senior AI professional to lead and accelerate AI initiatives across our Business Unit. This role demands a highly versatile individual who can ideate, architect, prototype, and deliver AI solutions and IPs while working hands-on with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments, communicates exceptionally well, and can translate business vision into scalable AI outcomes.

Experience Requirements

. 7 years to 15 years overall experience in technology, with 5+ years in AI/ML, GenAI, or Data Science. . Proven experience in deg, building, and deploying AI solutions/POCs/products. . Strong background in architecting enterprise-grade AI workflows and pipelines. . Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement. . Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially when simplifying complex AI topics.

Key Responsibilities

. Drive the AI strategy and roadmap for the Business Unit end-to-end. . Identify impactful AI/automation opportunities and propose scalable, value-led solutions. . Lead POC development, prototype creation, and conversion into production-ready solutions. . Build AI/IP accelerators, reusable components, and frameworks for rapid delivery. . Architect and implement LLM-based, GenAI, and ML-driven solutions across use cases. . Collaborate with delivery teams, architects, QA, DevOps, and Data Engineering to execute AI projects. . Work hands-on on model development, pipelines, orchestration layers, and workflow automation. . Drive adoption of AI best practices, standards, and governance across the BU. . Present solutions, demos, and business value assessments to senior stakeholders and clients. . Ensure clear documentation, transparency, and traceability of all AI initiatives. . Mentor and guide junior AI engineers, promoting internal capability building. . Act as a trusted advisor on AI feasibility, risk, and design decisions.

Preferred Technical Skillset

. Strong hands-on expertise with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, prompt engineering, and multi-agent frameworks. . Proficiency in Python, vector databases, Lang Chain/Llama Index, and model tuning/evaluation. . Experience with Azure OpenAI / AWS Sagemaker / Google Vertex AI and cloud-native deployments. . Solid understanding of MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, model monitoring, and versioning workflows. . Strong grounding in API development, microservices, security practices, and data engineering basics.
