Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Access Management Engineer/Analyst who will be responsible for managing user access, entitlements, authentication processes, and ensuring compliance with organizational security policies. This role focuses primarily on access provisioning, access reviews, application onboarding, and daily access operations, with limited but essential involvement in broader IAM processes.
Key Responsibilities • Perform user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access modification across enterprise applications and systems. • Manage roles, groups, entitlements, and permissions following least-privilege principles. • Support and maintain access management platforms (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, Ping, internal AM tools). • Handle application access onboarding including role mapping, entitlement reviews, and access workflow configuration. • Administer authentication policies such as MFA, conditional access, and SSO configurations (basic setup & troubleshooting). • Conduct periodic access reviews, certification campaigns and help ensure SOX//ISO compliance. • Collaborate with application owners to maintain accurate access matrices and role definitions. • Respond to access-related incidents, troubleshooting /authentication issues. • Document access procedures, SOPs, and maintain access-related records for audits. • Support IAM team with tasks like identity lifecycle activities, basic connector monitoring, and access governance tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications • 4+ years of experience in Access Management or Identity Operations. • Hands-on experience with directory services (Active Directory, Azure AD) including user/group management. • Understanding of authentication methods
- SSO, MFA, password policies, OAuth/OIDC/SAML (basic knowledge). • Experience with access request workflows and ticketing systems (ServiceNow/JIRA). • Strong knowledge of access control concepts: least privilege, segregation of duties (SoD), RBAC. • Experience working with Okta, Azure AD, Ping, or similar Access Management tools. • Ability to work with application teams to define and maintain access roles/entitlements. • Basic scripting ability (PowerShell, Python) for automating access tasks is a plus. • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
