Senior Salesforce Architect

Roles and Responsibilities As a Salesforce Architect, you will be responsible for: • Defining the technical architecture of CGI’s Salesforce environment; • Developing and maintaining a library of templates, best practices, and reusable knowledge assets; • Validating the architecture and design of new projects and initiatives; • Promoting reuse of Salesforce platform components and integration features; • Identifying, communicating, and mitigating risks that could impact project success; • Providing technical strategy and guidance for Salesforce deployments, and helping define adoption strategies across CGI; • Managing complex technical issues and acting as a technical lead for development teams; • Supporting multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously; • Leading, mentoring, and training team members, while overseeing daily technical activities; • Facilitating design workshops and promoting best-in-class architectural solutions; • Staying informed about industry trends in accessibility, usability, and emerging technologies, and integrating them into future solutions; • Maintaining a strong understanding of CGI’s business domains, applications, and functional requirements; • Supporting all phases of the project lifecycle: analysis, design, development, deployment, and post-delivery support.
Required Skills and Qualifications • University degree or college diploma in computer science or equivalent; • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; • Strong team spirit and client-service orientation; • Ability to work in an Agile environment and meet tight deadlines; • Deep practical knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including implementation best practices and enterprise systems integration; • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams of varying technical expertise; • Proficiency in both French and English (bilingualism required for this global role); • Hands-on experience with Salesforce.com (Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud), workflows, mobility, SSO, and APIs; • Proven technical leadership and communication skills across all organizational levels; • Experience deg architectures for medium- and large-scale projects; • Demonstrated expertise in Salesforce community and portal implementations; • Advanced proficiency with Force.com development, Lightning components, APEX, Visualforce, AppExchange apps, and system integration
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $90.000–$175,000 This role is an a future opportunity
