We are in search of an accomplished Sr. Power BI Developer to enrich our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for creating dynamic and effective data‑visualizations and insights.

As a Sr. Power BI Developer, you will collaborate closely with our cross‑functional teams including back‑end developers, designers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions aligned with our clients' requirements. Your role will involve transforming raw data into compelling insights through intuitive and visually appealing reports and dashboards, as well as resolving data-related issues and inconsistencies.

Responsibilities: . Gather and understand business requirements in a BI context and design data models to convert raw data into meaningful insights. . Create dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI. . Strong understanding in Power BI Desktop, Power BI service, Power BI dataflows. . Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) with clear objectives and continuously monitor these KPIs. . Analyze data and present it via reports that aid decision‑making across functions. . Translate business requirements into technical specifications, estimate timelines, and deliver accordingly. . Develop relationships among data, building data models like star schema, snowflake, galaxy schema e.tc. . Document algorithms, parameters, models, relationships and create appropriate charting and visual documentation. . Design, develop, test and deploy Power BI scripts, data models and reports. . Perform advanced DAX queries and functions within Power BI as required. . Analyze current ETL processes, identify improvements, and design enhanced systems for data loading, transformation and refresh. . Design, develop and optimize data modelling, ETL and analytics pipelines, ensuring performance and scalability. . Apply technical/strategic improvements to existing Business Intelligence systems to keep them current and efficient. . Work closely with users and team members at all levels to gather feedback, improve performance and deliver suggestions for enhancements.

Must-Have Skills: . Advanced mastery of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) in Power BI. . Expertise in Power Query / ETL processes including: Debugging refresh failures & data loading errors. Implementing incremental refresh policies. Optimizing ETL steps to minimize data redundancy and transformation time. . Strong data modelling expertise (tabular models, relationships, performance optimization). . Experience with Power BI Service Governance & Administration, including gateways, dataset refresh, and Row-Level Security (RLS). . Monitoring, performance-troubleshooting and advanced debugging of Power BI reports/datasets to ensure fast and reliable delivery. . Skilled in deg impactful visualizations, choosing appropriate charts, formatting, and user-friendly dashboards.

Good-to-Have Skills: . Exposure to Power BI Dataflows and self-service data-preparation frameworks. . SQL for data preparation and extraction. . Familiarity with ServiceNow. . Experience working with Azure services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Analysis Services). . Basic proficiency in Python for data manipulation, scripting or analytics tasks.
