Azure /L2
Description
- Provide Level 3 support for Azure services including Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage, Azure AD, and Security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues from Level 1 and Level 2 support teams.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes for recurring problems.
- Collaborate with Microsoft engineering teams and external vendors for unresolved issues.
- Monitor and maintain Azure infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Configure and automate provisioning, testing, and deployment of cloud services and microservices.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of maintenance, upgrades, and installations.
- Identify and resolve cloud security and infrastructure vulnerabilities.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Implement and monitor security controls including firewalls, NSGs, and identity protection.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Contribute to support process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Mentor and guide Level 1 and Level 2 support engineers.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as needed.
- Manage incident response and service request fulfillment using ticketing systems.
- Ensure timely resolution and communication with stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in technical/cloud support, with at least 2 years in Azure.
- Expertise in Azure services, networking protocols, and cloud security.
- Proficiency in PowerShell, ARM templates, and Azure CLI.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert are preferred.
