Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role for 2-4 years
  • Experience working with industry software such as PeopleSoft, Hyperion (Oracle) would be considered valuable assets
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze financial information, both structured and unstructured
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BCOMM) in Accounting or Finance
  • Accounting Designation (CPA) completed or in progress - preference will be given to candidates who have completed their CPA designation
  • Advanced skills with MS Office tools including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent in verbal, written and communication skills in English
  • Action oriented, proactive with high level of accountability for delivering quality work

Key Responsabilities:

  • Ensure the integrity and reliability of the financial and operating results for both reporting and forecasting purposes
  • Prepare annual, quarterly and monthly forecast for assigned client groups
  • Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
  • Deliver accurate, insightful and timely analysis of financial results against plans, forecast and budget
  • Participate in the design, development and implementation of performance management tools
  • Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to improve accuracy and drive efficiency
  • Complete ad hoc reports/analysis as necessary
  • Manage multiple deadlines demonstrating the ability to prioritize and a high level attention to detail
  • Gather and verify financial information with a proactive attitude
  • Participate in other projects as necessary

Desirable:

  • Excellent in verbal, written and communication skills in French
