- Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (GCP) Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with hands-on experience in GCP (multi-cloud preferred). The candidate will be responsible for managing infrastructure, supporting client queries, and ensuring operational excellence in a 24/7 Hybrid cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure across GCP and/or Azure. Ensure smooth operations of core cloud services: Network, Compute, IAM, Load Balancers, Security Policies, and Storage. Provide hands-on support with Linux OS administration and commands. Configure and manage cloud-native monitoring systems. Handle IPC requests and provide timely resolutions. Troubleshoot issues effectively and provide root cause analysis. Attend client calls, clarify queries, and deliver solutions with a client-first mindset. Work from client location on all working days, supporting 24/7 rotational shifts. Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and adopt AI-driven frameworks.
Required Skills & Experience Minimum 4 years of IT experience with strong exposure to cloud platforms. Hands-on expertise in GCP (multi-cloud preferred). Strong knowledge of cloud fundamentals: networking, compute, IAM, load balancing, security rules, storage. Proficiency in Linux OS and command-line operations. Experience with cloud-native monitoring tools. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams. Willingness to work in 24/7 rotational shifts and at client location.
Preferred Skills Experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation. Knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration. Exposure to storage and Linux
