About the position
About the Role We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join Banking Client Technology Architecture Team on a contract basis. This role is pivotal in deg and delivering client-focused technology solutions aligned with enterprise architecture principles, security standards, and regulatory requirements within a dynamic financial services environment
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver end-to-end solution architectures that enable client-centric capabilities.
- Translate business requirements into robust, scalable technical designs.
- Ensure compliance with company's architecture principles, governance frameworks, and financial services regulations.
- Provide technical leadership during implementation, including vendor/development team coordination and architectural quality assurance.
- Produce high-quality architecture artefacts and documentation.
- Advise on technology trends, integration strategies, and optimisation opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years' experience as a Solution Architect in complex enterprise environments, preferably in financial services.
- Strong knowledge of integration patterns, modern application architectures (microservices, APIs), and data architecture.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification.
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science/Information Systems or Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) or BCom in Information Systems / Informatics or applicable BSc Engineering
- Experience in consultancy or vendor-led delivery models.
