Senior Management Accountant

About the position

This role is responsible for end-to-end ownership of global revenue accounting, reporting integrity, and control environment across a multi-entity SaaS organization operating in 25+ countries. Lead a team of Management Accountants and act as a critical bridge between group reporting, accounting operations, commercial operations, and systems transformation, ensuring accurate, compliant, and scalable revenue processes in line with IFRS 15. Play a lead role in the implementation of an AI-enabled Revenue Management platform, driving automation, standardization, and predictive insights.

Revenue Control & Accounting

• Lead revenue accounting across: Subscriptions (SaaS),Usage-based, Professional services (milestone delivery), Royalties,& Support Services.
• Ensure accurate application of IFRS 15 across all revenue streams.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of: Deferred revenue, Contract assets / liabilities, Revenue cut-off.

Month-end Close & Reporting

• Lead the monthly revenue close process across multiple jurisdictions
• Ensure timely, accurate and consistent reporting across all entities
• Deliver: Revenue reporting packs & Variance analysis (actual vs forecast vs prior periods)

Team Leadership

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 2 Management Accountants.
• Set performance objectives and build a high-accountability culture.
• Ensure clear ownership of regional and revenue stream responsibilities.

Audit, Compliance & Controls

• Lead revenue-related group & statutory audit deliverables (external & internal).
• Ensure strong SOX / ICFR control framework.
• Maintain and enhance: Revenue policies, SOPs, Control documentation, up to-date risk register.

Transformation & Systems

• Act as Revenue Expert in AI-enabled revenue system implementation.
• Drive: Automation of reconciliation of contract balances.
• Reduce manual intervention and improve scalability.

Minimum Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA / CA / CIMA).
• 8-12+ years' experience in revenue accounting, ideally SaaS / Tech.
• Strong technical expertise in: IFRS 15, Multi-element arrangements, Variable consideration.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams.
• Experience in Audit, global, multi-entity environments.
• Exposure to ERP and revenue systems Sun Systems, Salesforce, Zuora, etc.
• Transformation mind-set with strong systems and process orientation
