About the position A growing product distribution business based in Roodepoort, Gauteng is seeking an experienced Operations Leader to oversee the end-to-end operational value chain, including supplier coordination, contract manufacturing, inventory planning, and warehouse logistics. This hands-on role is responsible for ensuring efficient coordination between suppliers, manufacturing partners, sales administration, and distribution while maintaining strong service levels and inventory control in a fast-paced environment. Requirements: 5-8 years' experience in operations, supply chain, or business management Experience managing contract manufacturers and external suppliers Background in FMCG, consumer goods, distribution, or product-based environments required Strong knowledge of ERP systems (Odoo, Syspro, SAGE or similar) Advanced Excel and strong analytical ability Proven leadership experience managing operational or warehouse teams Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day operations from procurement through to delivery Coordinate suppliers, contract manufacturers, warehouse operations, and sales administration Oversee inventory planning, replenishment cycles, and demand alignment Monitor supplier performance, production schedules, and stock availability Manage procurement of buy-out/white-label products Ensure efficient order fulfilment, warehouse operations, and logistics processes Control operational costs and support budgeting and planning Lead and develop the operations and warehouse team Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
