Civil Technologist

About the position Job Requirements: Qualifications: Applicable Bachelor's for BTech degree in Civil Engineering. Registration with ECSA (preferred). Experience: 5 or more years' experience with specific Municipal Infrastructure Design experience a pre-requisite. Core Competencies: Knowledge and experience in working with AutoCAD. Experience working in Civil Designer Software and/or Civil3D. Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Word and Excel. Competent in preparing and presenting technical reports including Services reports. Knowledge of Document Management for Drawings and Documents including reports, tenders, contracts, etc. Drafting of tender documents including project specifications. Knowledge for the preparation of tender evaluation reports. Contract administration in the form taking site meeting minutes, reviewing of construction programmes, etc. Knowledge and experience of Quality assurance when carrying out site inspections and adherence to local authority standards. Knowledge of cost estimating of different design development options.
