Key Account Manager

About the position To drive sales through C-suite engagement by managing national key accounts across B2B channels, focusing on trade marketing, procurement negotiations, and the development of strategic customer relationships to achieve sales and profitability targets. Minimum Requirements and Qualifications: National Diploma or higher in Sales or Marketing 10 years+ years of proven experience in Key Account Management C-suite engagement, trade marketing, national account and procurement negotiations FMCG industry knowledge within South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa ( advantageous ) B2B multi-channel experience in commercial refrigeration or related industry ( beneficial ) Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport Key Performance Areas: Develop and implement account strategies and sales plans to achieve annual sales turnover and profitability targets National account negotiations - retail listings and trade agreements Manage, retain, and grow existing customer accounts while identifying and converting new business opportunities Maintain strong customer relationships through effective contract and agreement management Conduct monthly reviews of customer results, identify variances, and take corrective action to stay aligned with budgets Provide market insights and account intelligence to support business planning and product development Promote company values, teamwork, and collaboration to drive performance across accounts Desired Skills: After Sales Management Client Relationship Management Contracts Key Accounts Management New Business Development Sales SAP Customer Relationship Management (CRM) About The Employer: A global leader in refrigeration and packaging solutions, serving major beverage and FMCG brands across Sub-Saharan Africa.
