Key Qualifications & Experience At least a diploma in fisheries or aquaculture. Two years’ experience in cage farming. Must understand that this is a job that you are working on water most of the time. Must be able to swim Should be physically fit Deployment, exchange, and inspection of nets Ensure you and your team adhere to all Health and Safety Policies Nets are to always be handled with care Nets are set on time and on Schedule for fish stocking and transfers Ensure nets are removed from cages timely after harvests Quality: each net set has to be tied correctly and securely Do safe net exchanges: changing a net out on a cage which already has fish Help Planning annual leave within your team so that work can always continue Ensuring that the workspace is always neat and tidy.
