Job Summary We are seeking a results-driven Medical Sales & Marketing Executive to join our team in Kampala, Uganda. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling medical equipment and consumables, with a strong focus on ICU, Theatre, and Surgical products . The role requires a proactive professional who can build strong client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and support hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare institutions with the right product solutions. This is a field-based role that requires frequent travel and direct engagement with clients across Uganda. Key Responsibilities Promote and sell the company’s medical equipment and consumables to hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and other healthcare institutions. Develop and maintain strong relationships with doctors, surgeons, theatre staff, procurement teams, hospital administrators, and other key stakeholders. Identify new business opportunities and generate leads to grow sales in assigned territories. Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for customers where necessary. Prepare quotations, proposals, tenders, and follow up to close sales opportunities. Provide accurate product information and technical guidance to clients. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, and provide regular feedback to management. Achieve agreed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Support the marketing team in planning and executing campaigns, promotional activities, exhibitions, and medical events. Ensure excellent after-sales support and customer service. Maintain up-to-date sales records, customer databases, and activity reports. Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements Degree or equivalent qualification in Sales and Marketing or a medical-related field . Good knowledge of ICU, Theatre, and Surgical equipment/consumables . Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar sales and marketing role. Experience working in theatre/operating room environments will be an added advantage. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage client relationships effectively. Strong presentation and product demonstration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good planning, reporting, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general sales reporting tools. Willingness and ability to travel up to 80% of the time . Must be based in or willing to relocate to Kampala, Uganda . Preferred Attributes Self-motivated and performance-driven.
