To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in GBV case management or protection programming. Moreover, we also expect the following. Required A Bachelor’s degree in Social sciences, Development studies, Gender studies, Community psychology, guidance and counselling or any related field. Experience working with survivors of violence in humanitarian or community settings. Strong interpersonal and empathetic communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality. Basic understanding of GBV concepts and survivor-centered approaches. Ability to work with diverse and vulnerable populations. Good documentation and organizational skills. Proficiency in basic computer applications. Counselling skills and case management Experience of working with UN or Non‐Governmental organizations. Familiarity with Monitoring & Evaluation for UN-funded projects. Familiarity with UNHCR ProGres V4 Module. Ability to Ride a motorcycle with Valid Riding Permit. Desirable Knowledge of the local languages spoken by south sudanese and Congolese refugees” communities. Project implementation and adherence to standards Support the daily functioning and quality implementation of activities in Women and Girls Safe Spaces (WGSS) in line with GBV minimum standard and DRC guidelines. Ensure WGSS provide a safe, confidential, and supportive environment for women and girls accessing the services. Facilitate or support structured group activities and psychosocial support sessions for women and girls in the safe spaces. Monitor the functionality, safety, and accessibility of WGSS, including infrastructure, materials, and protection considerations. Ensure that GBV guiding principles (confidentiality, safety, respect, and non-discrimination) are respected in all interactions within the spaces. Identify individuals who may require specialized support and facilitate safe referrals to GBV case workers following established referral pathways and with informed consent. Maintain basic activity records and attendance registers while ensuring confidentiality and data protection standards. Support the maintenance and safe management of WGSS materials and equipment used for activities.
