About The Post At Twynham TGS, we are proud to provide a modern, secure, and continually evolving digital environment that supports outstanding teaching and learning. As our new IT Manager, you’ll have the autonomy to drive strategic development, modernise systems, and lead a committed ICT support team—all while being supported by experienced Trust-wide colleagues. You will play a central role in ensuring our IT infrastructure remains robust, secure, and future-focused. We are looking for an outstanding individual who will relish the opportunity to: Lead and develop the on-site IT Support Team. Work closely with the Trust IT Lead to implement a forward-thinking ICT strategy. Oversee the management and security of our core network, servers, cloud services, and end-user systems. Manage third-party suppliers and ensure value-for-money procurement. Drive innovation across both Windows and Apple environments. Ensure compliance, effective safeguarding practice, and robust disaster recovery processes. Champion new technologies that enhance teaching, learning, and support staff productivity. Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people in accordance with our Safeguarding and Child Protection policies. This is an exciting and varied leadership role—with opportunities to influence MAT-wide systems and collaborate with IT professionals across the Trust.
