Requirements University Degree. Relevant Practical training in business growth in the financial services sector. Three years banking experience in a sales role. Good selling, negotiation & influencing skills. Good understanding of the home loans and mortgages sector, industry and business awareness. Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Must have a good understanding about consumer banking product features, pricing, benefits, positioning, design and promotions. Aggressively grow the mortgages and home loans portfolio by opening new accounts whilst also maintaining existing opportunities. Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and other relevant bodies to ensure that the bank maximizes its sales potential. Coordinate customer engagement activities both onsite and offsite and conduct regular online and face-to-face customer visits, site visits and recognition initiatives. Follow up on all queries and complaints from the customers and give timely resolution. Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for measuring growth against target. On a selective basis, make joint calls with corporate & Business Banking RMs for acquisition of new business and feedback. Assess credit requests in conjunction with the credit department in line with the banks credit standards, policies, procedures and practices and recommend action to the credit department and committee. Maintain a database of customers by individual relationship manager for business assistance, bank related communication and professional networking and engagement sessions. Coordinate and follow up on business files submitted by sellers for approval to credit for a fast turnaround time. Generate new business from incoming inquiries to support the various Bank segments.
