Asset Protection Manager

Key Responsibilities Lead negotiations with police and relevant authorities to secure the release of company-financed vehicles that have been impounded or detained. Investigate and resolve fraud or theft cases involving financed vehicles and clients. Coordinate rapid response for any incidents that put company assets at risk. Maintain close communication with local police stations, URA enforcement teams, and other regulatory bodies. Work closely with the risk, legal, and operations teams to strengthen asset recovery procedures. Track ongoing cases and prepare weekly reports on asset protection, recoveries, and exposures. Develop and implement preventive strategies to minimize future impoundments or fraudulent actions. Supervise or coordinate with external investigators, security officers, or towing agents when needed. Support legal case preparation for clients in default or criminal violation affecting company property. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Law, or a related field. At least 3–5 years of experience in asset recovery, law enforcement liaison, risk management, or related field. Strong negotiation and communication skills in both English and Luganda. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make swift, sound decisions under pressure. Familiarity with police procedures, legal documentation, and asset financing operations is an added advantage.
