Key Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries & Aquaculture, Veterinary Medicine, Zoology, Animal Science, or a related field. 1–3 years’ experience in laboratory work, feed quality control, or aquaculture operations is an added advantage. Basic understanding of feed quality parameters and laboratory procedures. Feed Inspection & Sampling Inspect feed upon arrival for physical quality parameters such as durability, color, odor, contamination, and general condition. Collect feed samples from trucks according to established sampling procedures. Report any deviations or non-conformities to the Laboratory Team Lead in a timely manner. Laboratory Testing & Analysis Conduct physical and proximate analyses including Floatability, bulk density, buoyancy, moisture, crude protein, fat, ash, fiber, and other required parameters. Ensure testing procedures follow approved SOPs and quality standards. Record and verify results accurately before submission for review. Data Management & Reporting Enter laboratory results accurately into approved databases and reporting systems. Prepare routine feed quality reports for review by the Laboratory Team Lead. Maintain organized and traceable laboratory records for audits and reference. Laboratory Housekeeping & Stock Management Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety within the laboratory. Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of samples and reagents. Monitor laboratory consumables and notify the Team Lead when stock replenishment is required. Conduct calibration and routine maintenance of laboratory equipment.
