Project Officer- Sanitation and Hygiene

Description

Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in environmental health, Public Health, Social Sciences, Social Works, Development Studies, Public Administration, Community Development or related field. Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in WASH Software’s programming and technical design and implementation of sanitation and hygiene approaches with 2 years in high risks environment/hard to reach locations. Proven expertise in deg and managing large-scale sanitation and hygiene promotions projects in both development and humanitarian settings. Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data for decision-making and program improvement. Demonstrated experience in staff and community training, facilitation, and mentorship. Technical & Interpersonal Skills. Strong knowledge of WASH sector standards, government policies, and donor compliance frameworks (UNICEF, USAID, EU, UN agencies, World Bank etc). Proficiency in CLTS, PHAST, CLTS+, MBSIA, CHAST, PHASE software is essential. Demonstrated experience in proposal writing, donor engagement, and resource mobilization. Demonstrated experience in climate resilience, gender-integrated and inclusive WASH programming. Technical Support and Quality Assurance Program Development, Reporting, and Learning Coordination, Representation, and Advocacy Capacity Strengthening
