Sales Executive
Description
He or She will perform the following duties: • Manage existing accounts, secures orders, and establish new accounts by organizing daily work schedules to visit current or potential sales outlets and other trade contacts. • Tailor sales presentations based on the type of outlet or trade factor. • Concentrate sales efforts by analyzing the existing and potential volume of dealers. • Process orders by consulting price lists and product information. • Keep management updated by submitting activity and results reports, including daily call logs, weekly plans, and monthly and annual territory assessments. • Monitor the competition by gathering current market data on pricing, products, new offerings, delivery schedules, and merchandising strategies. • Suggest product, service, and policy changes based on results and competitive trends. • Address customer complaints by investigating issues, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management. • Enhance professional knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing industry publications, building personal networks, and engaging with professional organizations. • Maintain historical sales records for the area and customers. • Assist customers by selling products and addressing their needs. • Contribute to team goals by achieving related results as needed and performs any additional duties assigned by the manager.
