The Cashier
- Bar Section is responsible for accurate financial record-keeping, daily sales reconciliation, stock accountability, and maintaining operational cleanliness and order within the bar. This role requires high integrity, strong numerical accuracy, and strict adherence to stock control procedures. Key Responsibilities Record all daily bar sales accurately Conduct daily stock checks and reconcile physical stock against sales records Perform inventory reconciliation and report variances immediately Maintain proper cash handling and end-of-day balancing Support identification of external partners for bar-related events Ensure cleanliness and proper organization of the bar working area Maintain updated stock movement records Assist in event sales coordination when required Performance Expectations Zero unexplained stock losses Accurate daily reconciliation reports Clean, organized, and compliant work environment Transparent and accountable financial handling Qualifications & Requirements Previous experience as a cashier (hospitality/bar experience preferred) Strong numerical and record-keeping skills High level of integrity and accountability Ability to work long hours, including weekends and holidays Must be flexible and responsive to operational demands Compensation & Benefits UGX 250,000 per month On-site accommodation provided Daily lunch meal 10% commission on total profits generated from confirmed external event activities Working Conditions 7-day work week 1 rest day after every 14 working days Long hours, including weekends and holidays Submit your CV and a brief cover note highlighting your experience in cash handling and inventory management.
