Pest Control Technicians

Position : Pest Control Technician. Reports to: Pest Control Supervisor. Department : Pest Control. Job purpose : To ensure that pest control jobs are carried out effectively and efficiently. Brief Job Description: Ensuring efficient and effective operations of the pest control department. Duties and Responsibilities: Inspect or survey all commercial and residential properties, both indoors and outdoors. Decide on a course of action to control or eliminate pests. Prepare estimates and bills for clients. Prepare and spray various pesticides by the use of a cross-section of equipment. Place and set traps for rodents. Advise clients on how to prevent future pest infestation. Ensure use of environmentally friendly and approved pesticides Use and work with appropriate PPE. Endeavour to attend training courses attached to your field. Maintain an understanding of the company’s integrated management policies and apply them in your daily duties. Always wear company uniforms, including name tags, at the office premises and in the field. Ensure strict time keeping at work and at the client’s premises. Create pest control reports and rodent bait maps. Standards Correct spraying methods and use of equipment Prior proven experience in fumigation Adhere to the company Health and Safety Policy, Environmental Policy, and Quality Policy. Adhere to the company's housekeeping and pest control procedures. Proper selection, use, maintenance, and storage of personal protective equipment Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets. Regularly submit client inspection reports, invoices, and receipts to administration.
