🚀 Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced XR Technical Producer to lead the initial development phase of an immersive AR/VR application focused on interactive storytelling, education, and digital experiences.
This is a foundational leadership role responsible for defining the technical direction, building the development roadmap, recruiting talent, and overseeing execution of a working prototype.
This person will act as both a technical strategist and project leader, ensuring that time, budget, and resources are used efficiently—protecting the company’s investment while delivering a scalable product vision.
🎯 First Phase Responsibilities (Critical)
1. Define Budget & Scope
• Break down the prototype into clear development phases
• Estimate realistic budget ranges for MVP (3–5 minute XR experience)
• Identify cost drivers (talent, software, hardware, assets)
• Align scope with available funding and growth strategy
2. Design Technical Architecture
• Recommend and define the technology stack (e.g., Unity or Unreal Engine)
• Architect the XR system for:
o VR headset compatibility (e.g., Meta Quest or similar devices)
o Scalability into a larger digital ecosystem
• Define production pipelines for:
o 3D assets
o animation
o audio integration
o interactive systems
3. Identify and Recruit Key Talent
o XR Developers
o 3D Artists / Technical Artists
o UI/UX Designers
o Audio Designers
• Vet candidates and recommend hires or contractors
• Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and workflows
👉 Core expectation: Ensure the project is built efficiently, correctly, and strategically from concept to prototype.
🧩 ****Project Scope (Phase 1
- Prototype)****
You will oversee development of:
• A immersive XR experience
• A themed interactive environment (e.g., digital world or simulation)
• Basic interactive exploration mechanics
• Guided narration or character interaction
• Introductory audio storytelling elements
🧠 Ideal Candidate Profile
• Proven experience producing AR/VR or XR applications
• Strong knowledge of:
o Unity or Unreal Engine
o XR hardware ecosystems (Meta Quest or similar)
• Experience managing cross-functional creative + technical teams
• Ability to translate vision into structured execution plans
• Strong budgeting, planning, and problem-solving skills
