Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Front-End Engineer to join our engineering team on a 9-month contract-to-hire basis. This role is ideal for modern, AI-enabled engineers who leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve efficiency, code quality, and team productivity.

You will help build scalable, high-performance web applications, developing modern user interfaces using React within a microfrontend architecture and leveraging the client’s proprietary design system and component library. Experience in FinTech, payments, or POS platforms is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality front-end applications using React.
• Build modular, scalable UI components within a microfrontend architecture.
• Implement user interfaces using the client’s design system and component library.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality features.
• Ensure performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across modern browsers and devices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end best practices.
• Leverage AI-enabled engineering tools to enhance development workflow, testing, and productivity.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in front-end development.
• Strong expertise in React and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience building scalable applications using component-based architecture.
• Familiarity with microfrontend architecture or modular front-end systems.
• Experience working with design systems or reusable UI component libraries.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with large-scale enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern front-end tooling.
• Experience in FinTech, payments, or POS platforms.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development workflows or AI-enabled tools.
