eCos MX is a growing team of independent remote contractors supporting all of the growth and function of our eCos portfolio in the United States.

SPIRE Academy is an eCos company SPIRE Academy is a quickly growing elite international boarding Academy, Performance, Camp and multi-sport Event Center. Constructed atop an 800-acre assemblage, the campus hosts over 820,000sf of interior climate-controlled space and is a one-of-a-kind, world-class facility. It is the largest and most comprehensive indoor sports facility in North America. SPIRE has seen significant growth in the 4+ years of ownership under the Ehrenfeld Companies (eCos). We have established and consistently grown the Academy business, expanded the Performance Camps platform, added a significant number of major Events, and built partnerships with global brands like The Cleveland Clinic, Marriott, Starbucks and UnderArmour. Our national event partners include USATF, USA Wrestling, Big 10, Atlantic 10, NCAA and others bringing over 1MM visitors to campus annually.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Fundraising Specialist to drive our investment and fundraising efforts. The ideal candidate will have excellent English-speaking and writing skills, with a proven track record in raising capital from High Net-Worth (HNW) individuals, family offices, and institutional lenders. This remote position will focus on securing roughly $5 million per year in growth funding through private capital.

The Fundraising Specialist will work directly with the Owner Management and SPIRE Executive Leadership group to understand the vision and OKRs that will be supported by the capital raised. This position will be measured on clearly defined goals and fundraising benchmarks and report to the Managing Partner and Chief Experience Officer (CXO).

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to raise approximately $5 million annually.

Build and manage relationships with HNW individuals, family offices, and institutional lenders, engaging them in funding opportunities.

Craft compelling pitch decks, proposals, and other fundraising materials.

Identify and research potential investors and funding sources in the private capital market.

Participate in HNW conferences and investment capital conventions to build network and visibility for SPIRE. Sporadic travel to the United States required.

Negotiate and close funding deals, ensuring favorable terms for the company.

Maintain regular communication with the executive team and provide updates on progress.

Attend virtual meetings and events to promote the company’s growth story and funding needs.

Continuously seek new opportunities for growth funding through both debt and equity capital.

Support the development of investor parlor meetings, owners’ meetings on campus and other investor related programming.

Qualifications:

Excellent written and spoken English is a must.

Minimum 5 years of experience in fundraising, ideally with a focus on HNW individuals, family offices, and institutional lenders.

Proven track record of successfully and directly raising equity for seed and growth capital.

Strong negotiation skills and a track record of closing high-value deals.

A strong network in the private capital sector (HNW, family offices, institutional lenders).

Ability to craft persuasive presentations and written materials.

Knowledge of the sports, education, or boarding school sectors is a plus.

Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Familiarity with CRM tools and fundraising platforms is a plus.

Compensation:

Competitive base salary.

5% commission on all funds raised.

Flexible working hours and fully remote work environment; supported by the eCos MX Director of HR based in Guatemala.
