Overview
We are a high-volume direct-to-consumer mortgage marketing platform seeking a senior direct response strategist to design a scalable Creative Portfolio Optimization System.
This is a system architecture engagement — not copywriting or campaign execution.
We want to formalize how creative is:
The output will become a core internal operating system.
Objective
Design a disciplined, scalable framework that governs:
· Volume-based template count rules
· Creative displacement & fatigue rules
· Multi-client scalability model
Scope & Deliverables
1. Creative Allocation Framework
· Formula-based allocation model (Excel-ready logic)
· Rules for shifting volume based on magnitude (not just rank)
2. Control / Challenger Governance Model
· Rules for promotion & displacement
3. Volume-to-Creative Decision Model
· Recommended number of active creatives by contact volume
· Decision tree for low vs mid vs high volume programs
4. Statistical Testing Framework
5. CPA vs Response Weighting Logic
· Optimization framework when conversion data exists
6. Implementation Playbook
Final deliverable: A documented optimization system we can operationalize internally.
Ideal Background
· 10+ years in direct response marketing
· Experience running large-scale direct mail programs
· Background in credit card, insurance, fintech, or telecom acquisition preferred
· Built or governed control/challenger frameworks
· Experience with portfolio-level optimization and testing design
Timeline
4–6 weeks
Weekly working sessions expected.
