Acquisition Marketing Manager - Japan

BettingJobs is working with a new service provider within the iGaming industry who are looking for an **Acquisition Marketing Manager
- Japan** to join their team based remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute acquisition strategies tailored to the Japanese market
Plan, launch, and optimize paid acquisition campaigns (Google, Meta, DSPs, local ad networks, affiliates, influencers, etc.)
Manage acquisition funnels from first touch to conversion, focusing on CPA, LTV, and ROI
Collaborate with affiliate partners, media buyers, and external agencies
Analyse campaign performance and produce actionable insights and reports
Test new channels, creatives, and landing pages to improve conversion rates
Monitor competitor activity and market trends in Japan’s iGaming landscape
Ensure all marketing activities align with local regulations and compliance requirements
Work closely with Product, CRM, and Retention teams to maximise player value
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in acquisition or performance marketing
Proven experience within iGaming, online gambling, or related high-growth digital industries
Strong understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem
Hands-on experience with paid media platforms and tracking tools
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and optimization skills
Experience working with affiliates and performance-based partnerships
Ability to manage budgets and scale campaigns efficiently
Fluent in Japanese; professional working proficiency in English
Self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment
