Accountant/Reconciliation Officer

BettingJobs is currently working with a fast-growing iGaming company who are seeking anAccountant/Reconciliation Officer to join their team in Cyprus. The ideal candidate will be responsible for duties including reconciliation between PSPs, banks, providers etc. This role is critical in maintaining trust, transparency, and financial compliance within the organization. Responsibilities:

• Perform weekly and monthly accounting tasks and reconciliation of various account transactions.
• Perform verification of input documentation from multiple sources.
• Process, verify and reconcile high volume transactions of complex nature.
• Maintain appropriate files, working papers, reports and documentation of data.
• Identify and investigate unreconciled transactions and provide solutions.
• Communicate observations on internal and external errors and provide practical solutions.
• Adapt to constant changes and improve on current existing procedures to keep track of reconciliation.
• Participate in ad hoc projects and support managers as needed.
• Initiate supplier payments. Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics or similar, or LCCI Level 3 Higher.
• 2-3 years of experience in a finance or similar position.
• Experience with reconciliation tasks, in the iGaming/Forex industries mandatory.
• Strong Excel skills.
• A high degree of accuracy with great attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask, to manage priority and to meet deadlines.
• Be able to work independently and be self-motivated.
• Fluent in English language.
