Java Developer

BettingJobs are working with an up-and-coming B2C and B2B company who are developing their own sportsbook platform. They are looking for a Java Developer to be based remotely. Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable and efficient software solutions for the gambling Platform.
• Create solutions to ingest and analyse betting data for our gambling platform.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Take ownership of your work as a product engineer, influencing both technical direction and product design.
• The ability to adapt and handle multiple competing priorities in collaboration with peers. Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3-4+ years of experience in software development.
• Solid technical expertise and experience in Java development, system & data architecture, distributed computing & storage, messaging services, caches and performance tuning.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with Mysql or other relational databases. Nice to have:
• Experience in the gambling industry.
• Experience collaborating and driving initiatives across globally distributed teams
