Sportsbook Manager

BettingJobs is partnering with a fast-growing start-up based in St. Julian's, Malta, as they search to find a Sportsbook Manager to join their team on a hybrid basis. The successful candidate will be required to work from their Malta office three days per week. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day sportsbook operations to ensure a smooth and engaging betting experience.
• Monitor sportsbook performance across key KPIs including turnover, margin, and player activity, providing regular and ad-hoc reporting.
• Ensure the sportsbook offer remains competitive and aligned with major sporting events and key markets, with localized focus for target audiences.
• Plan and execute promotions such as free bets, bet & get offers, odds boosts, and event-based campaigns, ensuring commercial viability with trading and risk teams.
• Support sportsbook CRM campaigns and coordinate messaging across channels including email, push notifications, and in-app messaging.
• Assist with player segmentation and tailored offers based on betting behavior.
• Act as a key contact for sportsbook platform and data providers, working with suppliers to resolve issues and improve the betting offer.
• Collaborate with internal teams including Trading, Product, Marketing, BI, and Customer Support to improve sportsbook performance and resolve operational queries or disputes.
• Support Customer Support teams with sportsbook-related issues and ensure clear communication regarding promotions, markets, and updates.
• Assist the Head of Sports with sportsbook initiatives, projects, and operational improvements. Requirements:
• Experience in online sportsbook operations or a similar sports betting role.
• Strong understanding of sportsbook mechanics, betting markets, and the sports calendar.
• Experience supporting CRM campaigns, promotions, or player engagement initiatives within a sportsbook or iGaming environment.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to monitor sportsbook performance and player activity.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
• Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends depending on major sporting events and operational needs.
