CRM Planning Manager
Description
We are working on a newly available CRM manager role for a sports betting and casino brand located in Central London. Working as part of a growing team, this role offers growth potential within an operator pursuing multiple European regulator licenses. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage automated lifecycle programmes across onboarding, service communications, churn prevention, retention, and reactivation.
- Build and maintain audience segments, triggers, and personalisation logic within the CRM and Back Office platforms.
- Own the CRM campaign calendar, planning and delivering ad-hoc promotional campaigns end-to-end (objectives, targeting, offers, messaging, channels, KPIs).
- Implement real-time, behaviour-based messaging and support on-site personalisation in collaboration with Product.
- Partner with Acquisition and Performance Marketing to ensure seamless cross-channel communication and minimise marketing fatigue.
- Manage external CRM delivery partners where required.
- Document processes and build scalable playbooks for new markets.
- Monitor and optimise campaign performance, bonus costs, ROI, and CRM’s contribution to revenue and player value.
- Track key CRM metrics (conversion, retention, reactivation, LTV) and translate insights into actionable improvements.
- Own and forecast CRM promotional and channel budgets.
- Run A/B tests and holdout groups to measure incremental impact and continuously improve performance. Requirements:
- 3–5 years’ experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, or marketing automation in a B2C digital environment (strong fundamentals and growth mindset also considered).
- Experience in iGaming, sports betting, or other regulated industries is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach and hands-on experience with A/B testing.
- High attention to detail, particularly in QA, compliance,, and consent management.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, startup-style environment.
- Hands-on experience with CRM/marketing automation platforms (e.g., Xtremepush, Optimove, Braze, Emarsys, BloomReach).
- Understanding of CDPs, first-party data flows, segmentation, and personalisation.
- Familiarity with event tracking, APIs, and retargeting audiences.
- Comfortable using analytics tools (e.g., GA4, FullStory, CRM dashboards, Power BI).
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience). CRM or marketing automation certifications are a plus.
