Group Head of Sportsbook and Trading

BettingJobs are working with a leading sports betting operator in Europe who are looking for a Group Head of Sportsbook and Tradingto join their team in Prague. The Job: Strategy & Commercial Performance:

• Define and execute the Sportsbook strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Develop a data-driven approach to improve profitability, customer engagement, and market positioning.
• Set and implement a pricing and odds strategy in alignment with the Customer Value Proposition and local brand strategies.
• Oversee third-party partnerships, ensuring high-quality service levels and long-term strategic value. Identify new market opportunities and expansion strategies to enhance our client's sportsbook proposition. Leadership & organizational development:
• Provide strategic leadership for the Trading and Sportsbook teams, ensuring strong decision-making and execution. Lead the team through significant change, defining the optimal operating model and organizational structure.
• Foster a high-performance culture, coaching and developing talent to build a strong internal pipeline for key roles. Operations & Trading Optimization:
• Optimize trading workflows and automation, leveraging new technologies to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure Sportsbook product delivery meets quality, innovation, and timeline expectations.
• Drive operational excellence, improving processes, feature development, and automation across platforms.
• Oversee market analysis and competitor benchmarking to maintain a competitive advantage.
• Evaluate and implement AI-driven trading tools and automation for risk management and real-time adjustments. Data & Insights-Driven Decision Making:
• Implement advanced reporting and analytics to drive business performance improvements.
• Monitor and analyze customer behavior, risk exposure, and betting patterns to optimize trading and profitability.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure measurable success.
• Leverage predictive analytics and machine learning to enhance trading strategies and pricing models
