Senior Payments Solutions Associate

BettingJobs is working with an up-and-coming B2C and B2B company who are developing their own sportsbook platform. They are looking for a Senior Payments Solutions Associate to join their team based in Sofia. Key Responsibilities:
- Review and process withdrawal requests in accordance with internal procedures.
- Analyse payment activity and customer history to identify irregularities or risk indicators.
- Detect and flag potentially manipulated documents.
- Investigate suspicious behaviour such as cross-payment attempts or repeated patterns.
- Coordinate with internal departments for case resolution.
- Communicate with third-party providers when further clarification is required.
- Maintain clear and structured documentation for all case activity.
- Escalate issues appropriately following established escalation paths.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance fraud prevention and operational efficiency.
- Support shift coverage, including weekends, as part of a rotation.
- Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in payments.
- Proven experience in payments processing, fraud prevention, or financial risk analysis.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills, with a focus on identifying inconsistencies.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive data and documentation.
- Experience with detecting document manipulation and identifying fraudulent behaviours.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proactive, solution-focused mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with shift-based work, including weekend availability
- Excellent English written and verbal skills.
