About the Assignment

You will join an embedded software environment focused on radio communication, where you will help develop and improve features in C and C++ for Linux-based systems. The role sits in a larger embedded software department with a mix of junior and senior specialists, and you will be part of a team that works close to both the product and the technology.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with electronics developers, software developers, testers, application engineers and team leads. This means you will work in a setting where software, hardware and verification come together, and where your technical decisions can have a clear impact on the final solution. It is an exciting opportunity if you enjoy embedded development in a collaborative environment with real technical depth.

Job Description

  • You will implement and refine features in C and C++ for embedded systems.
  • You will structure, debug and verify software in Linux-based environments.
  • You will work closely with electronics, software, test and application teams to move development forward.
  • You will investigate issues, contribute to troubleshooting and help secure stable system behavior.
  • You will explain your technical solutions clearly and share knowledge with people around you.

Requirements

  • Master of Science degree in computer engineering, electronics, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a developer.
  • Experience with C/C++.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English.
  • Knowledge of Linux and software applications in Linux-based systems.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of radio communication.
  • Experience with Yocto and Buildroot.
  • Ability to perform measurements and simpler troubleshooting at board level with measuring instruments.
  • Experience with GIT and DevOps.
