About the Assignment

You will join an inverter system team in the automotive industry, working with the development of power electronics solutions for electric drive systems. The assignment focuses on system design and requirement elicitation for the inverter, where you will help translate technical needs into robust, well-structured system requirements.

This is a role for you if you enjoy working at the intersection of electrical engineering, system thinking, and functional safety. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the development organization and support dialogue with suppliers, contributing to solutions that are technically sound and aligned with broader system goals.

Job Description

• Drive inverter system design work in a cross-functional development environment.
• Elicit, define, and structure system requirements for inverter functionality.
• Break down high-level requirements into clear and actionable technical requirements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align system needs, interfaces, and priorities.
• Contribute to system safety design with focus on dependable and compliant solutions.
• Support supplier-related discussions connected to the inverter system.
• Work with both software and hardware perspectives within power electronics and electric drive.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent degree.
• Experience working with power electronics software and hardware.
• Experience within electric drive systems.
• Experience in requirement management.
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 and ASPICE.
• Experience with Matlab/Simulink.
• Experience with Carweaver.
• Ability to complete a basic background check for the assignment.
