V&V Engineer

• Test Automation with AI Expertise

Role Overview

The main responsibility of this role is to enable and drive automation of System Testing together with the team. The engineer will bring strong expertise in test automation and AI-based solutions to ensure high-quality software artefacts. The role also includes defining and monitoring quality KPIs to provide continuous feedback and drive improvements across the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. Test Automation Leadership

• Ensure the highest possible level of automation of test activities.
• Design, build, and maintain the System Test automation framework together with the team.
• Build test automation solutions from scratch when required.
• Continuously improve and scale the automation framework.

2. AI-Driven Test Innovation

• Investigate and implement AI-based approaches to auto-generate system test cases.
• Analyze system logs and automatically create traffic scenarios from real production data.
• Identify opportunities to use AI for smarter test coverage, defect prediction, and anomaly detection.

3. Verification & Validation (V&V) Strategy

• Contribute to the definition and evolution of the Software Verification & Validation (V&V) strategy.
• Actively support the implementation of the V&V Plan.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and validation results.

4. Quality Assurance & KPI Management

• Define, create, and monitor quality-related KPIs.
• Provide data-driven feedback to improve product quality.
• Establish measurable quality gates within CI/CD pipelines.

5. Continuous Improvement

• Provide valuable feedback during Return of Experience (REX) sessions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on test results and KPI analysis.
• Promote best practices in test automation and quality engineering within the team.

Expected Competencies

• Strong experience in system test automation frameworks
• Knowledge of AI/ML applications in testing
• Experience with log analysis and traffic simulation
• Understanding of Software V&V processes
• KPI definition and quality metrics management
• CI/CD integration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proactive and collaborative mindset
