Combat System Integration

Ship Integration within Surveillance/Naval Combat Systems is looking for a person who will be responsible for enabling the physical integration of all the system parts (within a Combat System scope) onto a designated ship platform. Initially you will be working with a team of experienced engineers and as time progresses and you get more experience your primary task XXXX XXXX protecting the project’s Installation data interests.

In the installation data efforts, we use the database AVEVA/Engineering/TAGS. The database is populated via information gathered from our suppliers

• information which you will review (and possibly update) before releasing to the database. Where you find discrepancies, you will contact either the project Technical Authority for better understanding of the design, alternatively discuss it directly with the supplier.

You will work closely with core project members where your primary task XXXX XXXX protecting the projects Installation data interests and there will be a team of experienced engineers who work in other projects with whom you can brainstorm and share ideas with.

Your Profile

•    You have high attention to details while keeping an eye on the full picture.
•    You share information in a clear and easy way, verbally and in writing and you are a good communicator in both Swedish and English.
•    You have a collaborative mind-set but strive to complete a task independently.
•    You must be comfortable with reading, reviewing and understanding complex electrical wiring diagrams

Required skills: -    3-7 years relevant experience

•    Formal degree in Engineering or equivalent acquired from work experience.
•    Experience with cable dimensioning, matching cables/conductors from a cable catalogue with supplier/customer requirements
•    Experience with working in integrated project teams -    Fluent in Swedish & English

Desired skills:

•    Experience from the CMS/FCS products
•    Experience in the naval domain and or defense industry
•    Experience in ship design, especially power, HVAC and outfitting
•    Experience in working with AVEVA/Engineering/TAGS
•    Experience in working on a higher-level system hierarchy

Full-time on-site. The selection of candidates is done continuously. Good opportunities for an extension of the assignment.
