We are currently looking for a Senior QA SME / Test Strategist for a strategic consulting assignment with our client

  • an international leader in robotics and intralogistics, developing advanced automation solutions for customers worldwide.

This is a high-level strategic assignment, ideal for someone with extensive experience in building, structuring, and evolving test strategies, QA frameworks, and quality assurance processes in complex technical environments.

You will act as a trusted advisor and sounding board to a key stakeholder within the organization, ensuring that testing is structured, effective, and implemented at the right stages

  • before solutions reach end customers.

About the Assignment In this role, you will act as a strategic partner within QA and testing. The focus is not on operational test management, but on methodology, structure, and long-term quality enablement.

Your responsibilities will include:

Acting as a speaking partner and advisor on QA strategy Developing and improving test methodologies, processes, and ways of working Ensuring testing is integrated early in the project lifecycle Supporting the establishment or further development of QA frameworks Identifying risks in delivery and integration phases Ensuring quality assurance activities are completed before customer delivery Contributing improvement initiatives based on lessons learned Supporting the organization in increasing QA maturity The environment is international and technically advanced, with a strong focus on automation, robotics, and intralogistics solutions.

The key stakeholder you will collaborate with is based in Dortmund, Germany, and the collaboration takes place in an international setting.

Requirements Minimum 10 years of experience in QA, testing, and quality assurance Proven experience developing and implementing test strategies Experience establishing or evolving QA frameworks Strong expertise in test processes, methodologies, and quality governance Experience working in complex system environments (e.g., automation, industrial systems, intralogistics, or similar) Ability to operate at a strategic and advisory level rather than in a purely operational capacity Excellent communication skills Fluency in English, both written and spoken Strong analytical and structured mindset Experience working in international organizations

Meritorious:

Experience from integration-intensive environments Experience in technical or industrial domains Academic background in Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent
